This was reported on page 4 of the Thetford and Watton Times, dated January 16th 1915 ...

Death of a sailor

It appears the sinking of H.M.S. Formidable has been responsible for the death of one Brandon young man, as amongst those reported to have been rescued, his name did not appear.
William Henry Kent had only been transferred to the ship some two or three weeks previous, as only one letter has been received from him by Mr and Mrs W Hunter, of London Road, with whom he lived after the death of his grandmother.
